A Compliance Manager opportunity has become available at a dynamic organisation which operates within the ICT industry, and has a global footprint.
This driven, self starter will be responsible for drafting and revising company policies and procedures, to ensure they are in line with compliance legislation.
Create internal controls and proactive audit processes, and highlighting risks
Continuously monitor and evaluate activities to ensure that compliance is assessed
Collaborate with external auditors, Finance, HR and other departments as required
Construct Disaster Recovery plans in order to mitigate risk during crisis situations
Educate and train employees on regulations and industry practices
Act in an advisory capacity for all legal compliance matters including POPI, BEE, Employment Equity, ICASA, PCI, ISO, Telco Licenses and Insurance
Experience of maintaining regulatory compliance within an ICT environment
Experience in Policy Development
Good Governance Practices
Experience in Risk Management and constructing disaster recovery plans
Experience in Contracts Management - Drafting / Creating Legal Documents and Agreements
Knowledge of ICT Frameworks, Policies and Compliance
Working knowledge of Intellectual Property
LLB or Legal Degree
Professional / Compliance Certifications
Excellent Knowledge of Commercial Law, Intellectual Property, POPI, BEE, Employment Equity, ICASA, PCI, ISO, Telco Licenses and Insurance
