Compliance Manager

A Compliance Manager opportunity has become available at a dynamic organisation which operates within the ICT industry, and has a global footprint.
This driven, self starter will be responsible for drafting and revising company policies and procedures, to ensure they are in line with compliance legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create internal controls and proactive audit processes, and highlighting risks
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate activities to ensure that compliance is assessed
  • Collaborate with external auditors, Finance, HR and other departments as required
  • Construct Disaster Recovery plans in order to mitigate risk during crisis situations
  • Educate and train employees on regulations and industry practices
  • Act in an advisory capacity for all legal compliance matters including POPI, BEE, Employment Equity, ICASA, PCI, ISO, Telco Licenses and Insurance

Experience Requirements:
  • Experience of maintaining regulatory compliance within an ICT environment
  • Experience in Policy Development
  • Good Governance Practices
  • Experience in Risk Management and constructing disaster recovery plans
  • Experience in Contracts Management - Drafting / Creating Legal Documents and Agreements
  • Knowledge of ICT Frameworks, Policies and Compliance
  • Working knowledge of Intellectual Property
Qualification Requirements:
  • LLB or Legal Degree
  • Professional / Compliance Certifications
  • Excellent Knowledge of Commercial Law, Intellectual Property, POPI, BEE, Employment Equity, ICASA, PCI, ISO, Telco Licenses and Insurance
